Founded in 1997, Incurrent Solutions develops and operates web-based services for the global credit card industry, including issuers of consumer, small business, corporate T&E, purchasing, and private label cards. These services focus on cardmember care and are used directly by cardmembers, commercial clients, contact agents, and issuer partners. Incurrent’s products enhance all aspects of the relationship with the cardholder, from account acquisition to account servicing and loss prevention.
Incurrent’s clients included Certegy, CitiBank, MBNA Business Lending, FiServ, Target, and Metris. Services included access to account information, online statements, bill payments, as well as online service requests, online collections, and other service-enhancing tools for the issuers’ web channels. Sophisticated back-end integration to the issuer’s system of record fuels the all applications, and an array of integrated issuer controls allow the issuer to manage responses to online requests as well as manage the branding of their sites.
In December 2004, Incurrent was acquired by Online Resources Corp. (NASDAQ:ORCC). The purchase price consisted of $8 million in cash and 1 million shares of Online Resources common stock valued at $7.3 million on the December 22, 2004 closing date, for a total transaction price of $15.3 million.
